What is IntenseMetal.com?

In it's most basic form, IntenseMetal.com is a site and organization to help bands get internet presence and world-wide recognition.

For Bands we offer web-hosting with a subdomain (ie. <bandname>.intensemetal.com) with E-mail and other useful features to help keep their fans updated on gigs and news.

We also promote shows on the website, write reviews of concerts and CD's, and do interviews. IntenseMetal.com also sponsors and books shows in various cities (for now only in Santa Fe, NM USA - but we are looking for help to expand this greatly, for info Contact Us).

So be sure to check back often for reviews, concerts coming to your area, or interviews of the most INTENSE METAL!!

Who orchestrates this madness?

Why... I do... for now... I am Augustine Ortiz originally from Nambe, NM USA. Currently I am in the band Insight and a Senior at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (a.k.a. New Mexico Tech) in Socorro, NM USA majoring in Computer Science.

Why was IntenseMetal.com created?

IntenseMetal.com was created because my band, Insight, needed a website that had the features offered to bands here. Since I was going to have to write them for us anyway, I figured I may as well help out other bands as well. Then with that came the idea of building a site that would help to promote all the bands on the site. Since I also do booking and promoting for various events, do reviews at a radio station and newspaper, and build websites, IntenseMetal.com is the best contribution I can think of making to the Heavy Metal community. I hope you enjoy the site and visit back often.
